Is there a minimum investment amount?
Yes, our minimum is $200,000.
Do you have a mutual fund?
No, we only manage portfolios of individual securities held in the client’s name at Charles Schwab Inc.
Do you manage portfolios for individuals?
Yes, most of our clients are individuals or family accounts including Trusts, IRA’s and IRA Rollovers.
I have an account at Vanguard, can you work with them?
No, because Vanguard does not provide a platform for investment advisors.
Has anyone ever endorsed you?
Personal endorsements are strictly forbidden by the securities boards of US states and the SEC. In addition, due to privacy laws and the client need for discretion we do not provide referrals.

Do you use margin, options or futures?
Can you explain what Collective2.com is?
Collective2.com is a website commonly used for trading system developers to demonstrate the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of their investment systems. Some people prefer to subscribe to the systems for a fee but we do not recommend that for our clients.
The state of Colorado allows us to maintain these live portfolios as they represent an accurate barometer of our portfolio holdings, risk and return. C2 also provides their own statistical appraisal and reviews of the portfolios as well.
I live outside the United States. Can you manage my portfolio for me?
Yes, as long as you have a U.S. tax ID number.
I am not a citizen of the United States. Can you manage my portfolio for me?
If you are not a U.S. citizen, it is highly possible we can do so, depending on the country of your citizenship, as long as you have a U.S. tax ID number.
How do I get the account paperwork to become a client?
We will email all the Schwab paperwork required to open your account. Just return the documents and we will forward them to Schwab Institutional.
I already have a Schwab account, can you manage that?
Yes, all we’ll need to do is have you sign a Schwab Limited Power of Attorney form and our own client agreement.
If my account is at Schwab can I log in to check on it?
Yes, Schwab will provide you with the necessary login information to view your account at any time.
I currently work with a stock broker and he calls me every time we buy or sell something, can you do this for me too?
No, we only manage portfolios on a discretionary basis. Clients are informed by Schwab of all transactions.
What kind of reporting do you provide?
Schwab will provide email confirmations of all transactions, as well as yearly 1099 forms and monthly statements. In addition, RMHI will provide on a quarterly basis a performance evaluation which will compare your returns versus various benchmarks. We will also provide a Realized Gains/Losses statement for you to use for your tax returns.
I see these white dogs on your website, is there a special meaning there?
Yes, over the years we’ve learned to love mountain breeds such as the Kuvasz, Pyrenees, and Akbash. They are working dogs bred for livestock protection and unfit for city or suburban living. We’ve rescued several over the years and memorialized them on our website.
